The Law on Vocational Qualifications Authority was updated with the Law No. 6645 enacted on April 4, 2015.

After this update, there have been professions that have been required to document. According to the law;  “Persons who do not have a Vocational Qualification Certificate shall not be employed in the professions, which are dangerous and very dangerous, and whose standards are published by the Vocational Qualifications Authority and specified in the communiqués to be issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, according to the principles regulated in the Vocational Qualifications Authority Law, twelve months after the publication of the communiqués.”

With the first communiqué published by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on 25/05/2015, document obligation was introduced in 40 professions and VQA. Certificate of professional competence has been made mandatory.

Authorized Certification Body; Accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) or by other accreditation bodies that have signed a multilateral recognition agreement within the European Accreditation Union, in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17024 standard in the relevant national qualifications, Vocational qualification institute (MYK) as a result of the examination, inspection and evaluation, according to national qualifications, it is determined that it meets the necessary conditions to carry out the examination and certification activities.
